O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB), also known as Johannesburg Airport, is the main international airport serving Johannesburg, in South Africa. Concretely, the airport is located about 20 km from Johannesburg city centre. A train ride from JNB Airport to Johannesburg city centre may take around 40 minutes, always depending on each destination.

From Johannesburg Airport you can also travel by train to various destinations. You’ll find the train station on the upper floor between Terminals A and B. The Airport train line follows the following route: O.R. Tambo Airport - Marlboro - Sandton. At Sandton or Marlboro you can transfer to the North South Commuter Line: Park (serving Johannesburg city centre) - Rosebank - Sandton - Marlboro - Midrand - Centurion - Pretoria - Hatfield. At Sandton or Marlboro you can transfer to the East West Commuter Line: Sandton - Marlboro - Rhodesfield.

Trains work from the Airport Monday to Friday every 10-20 minutes, and during the weekends every 30 minutes. The cost to Sandton, Marlboro & Rhodesfield is 105 R; to Rosebank, Park & Midrand 115 R; and to Centurion, Pretoria & Hatfield 125 R.
