Johannesburg Airport Train

From Johannesburg Airport passengers can take the Gautrain to transfer to the city centre within 40 minutes. 

On the other hand, passengers can transfer to Sandton from O.R Tambo Airport in just 25 minutes.

O.R. Tambo Airport, Marlboro and Sandton.

There is only a train line from Gautrain Station. 

Location

The Central Terminal building at Tambo Airport houses the Gautrain station.

SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday every 10-20 minutes and on weekends every 30 minutes.

First train departs from Johannesburg Airport at 04:55 am and the last one at 09:20 pm. 

Fares 

Passengers need to purchase a Gautrain card to board to the train.

Fares are divided into Peak Fares and Off Peak fares, according to the time of the day.
